About Holisticamp
A place to slow down, reconnect, and leave feeling more balanced
HolistiCamp is an eco-friendly wellness campground and glamping retreat in Québec, created for people who want more than a weekend away — they want a true reset. It’s a place to breathe deeper, reconnect with nature, and return home feeling grounded, clear, and balanced.

Our Story
Built with intention
HolistiCamp was created to help people slow down, reconnect with the land, and remember the basics that make us feel good.
We’re building an eco-friendly campground and glamping retreat in Québec designed around privacy, comfort, and community.
Our vision is to build a sustainable destination where nature, comfort, and community come together to help restore, rebalance, and reconnect — without pressure to be anything other than yourself.
HolistiCamp is being built in phases to protect the land, reduce impact, and grow sustainably over time.

Meet the Founder
The heart behind HolistiCamp

Hi, I’m Kayla — the founder of HolistiCamp.
For most of my life, the outdoors has been the place where I felt the most like myself. As a kid, I didn’t feel like I fit in, and I struggled in school and in social spaces. But the moment I connected to nature through Cub Scouts and soccer, something clicked. I felt capable. I felt grounded. Nature didn’t demand that I be anyone else — it simply held me.
As I got older, I chose a path that matched my personality: building. I pursued carpentry and construction and worked hard to prove myself in an industry where women still have to fight for space. I loved creating with my hands and pushing myself to grow.
At the same time, I carried a long health journey — scoliosis, multiple major back surgeries, and long seasons of recovery. I learned resilience in a way I never expected. I also learned what it feels like to have your life interrupted and reshaped, again and again.
Over time, I learned to work with my body through scoliosis, surgeries, and long seasons of recovery — and I still fought hard to build my career in carpentry. But later, a workplace accident — a complete fluke from a movement I had done countless times — caused an injury that ultimately ended my ability to work in the field. It wasn’t just a job loss — it was identity loss. And then life added more: grief, heartbreak, and rebuilding from places that felt impossible.
HolistiCamp is the outcome of that journey. It’s not a “perfect wellness fantasy.” It’s a real place being built from real experience — created for people who need rest, who want to reconnect, and who want to feel held by nature the way I always have.
My goal is to build something sustainable, intentional, and welcoming — a destination that offers comfort without disconnecting from the land, and wellness without performative pressure. A place to breathe, to belong, and to come home to yourself.
